ABOUT
I AM
THEBLOB.
My name is Robert Partridge. I am TheBlob.
What started as a childhood nickname eventually became the name I returned to when I started turning years of private writing into music.
I write from lived experience—memory, relationships, fatherhood, isolation, loss, identity, regret, and trying to keep some kind of hope when life doesn’t go the way you expected.
The sound can change. The writing is what connects it.
